Just using my phone to post a quick update. Podcast is going strong, still working at Time Warner (though I now work overnights) and it looks like I am getting an apartment in Zanesville in june. Expect more later.

but after a couple months of being productive and starting a bunch of new songs, I have hit some major writer's block. I am sick again with a major headache and am staying home from work. Maybe I will try to get something done so I can start recording again. It's frustrating. I can't finish anything and a lot of the stuff I wrote, I am hating now... grumble grumble. I think I am too hard on myself. But I really don't want to put words into a song that I don't mean or think are crap. They might not be crap, but they sound like it to me...

I'm not sure how it happened, but I am behind on everything. I am a few weeks behind on my favourite TV shows. I am behind on posts and videos from my friends. I am behind on writing and recording music. I am behind on working on and producing content for the podcast. I am even behind on playing TF2. I think I have clocked a whole two hours the past week or so on Team Fortress. It's crazy how I'm apparently not doing stuff and yet not getting anything else done...



I really don't know where my time goes...

So, after years of bitching, I did something big. I applied for a job. A job with a major video game company. A job I am qualified for. A job, that if I get, would require me to move to Austin, Texas.

I've never been so scared and excited at the same time. Here's hoping I hear back from them soon. Even though I might promptly throw up after talking to them.

I'm pretty excited.

I have hit this new creative zone. I have been writing songs, recording demos and learning the ins and outs of my new recording equipment. Times are good. I actually wrote and recorded a song for fore-mentioned girl of my affections. I might post it some time later, but it's pretty personal. I really don't see a large spread offering of the song on the internets. I kind of want to keep it between me, her and a few of my friends and family. But fear not! I think I will have a little bit of music offerings in the next few weeks. I am hoping to have a 4-6 track EP ready by the end of February and I'm hoping to maybe start hitting some open mic nights once I have all my gear straight (i.e. mainly get my acoustic guitar repaired.)

Anyways, keep an eye out and an ear open. :)

So, I got a Ukulele for Christmas and I have been messing around with it. I got a webcam in the mail today. I ordered said webcam, it's not like I just get free webcams in the mail or anything. So... Having these two things, I decided to combine the two. Here is a video of me playing the Barenaked Ladies' "Its All Been Done" on my first Ukulele! Hooray!
